Glue gun fun!

My fingers are sour from glue gunning lots of pretty flowers onto head bands to make more flower crowns. . They look beautiful!

Tartan Cape

My boss was after a fleecy tartan cape, managed to help her out a little and make her one, I would love to commission some more as I'd like to see what other materials are like.

Iv had my eye on quite a few different skater skirts, Christmas is coming and i cant afford them all.. so I made some. Quite a few friends have mentioned they want me to make them, so I am going to look into buying some bulk material. Watch this space.

Over the summer I got a little excited and made quite a few flower crowns as I see them on the internet. .

I've decided to go a little christmasy and make myself a lovely red/burgundy rose flower crown, I think they look very cute on and are the icing on the cake for a party outfit.

Everyone loves a bit of Toppy. Lately I haven't really looked in there due to being absolutely skinnnnnt. But today I tried on these babies. I LOVE them, Want them... No, I NEED them. I am watching 48 things on eBay. Obsessed.

So Iv been a bit naughty and been watching lots of goodies on eBay the past week or so, One of them being this lovely tartan coat. Iv noticed tartan creeping back in fashion, I don't personally think i can pull off a lot of red tartan but definitely can pull off the blue/green. I have been watching this little number for about 4 days, waiting for the right moment.. And Shazammm. . £3.25 later, its all mine. Lovely.

A Good Rummage

Friday I found myself having a good rummage in the charity shops, yet again. I picked up 2 lovely little bags!

So today I made more bow necklaces!!! - I literally love them. So happy with them.

Tartan, Leather & Studs seem to be about a lot lately.. so I got hold of some lovely fabrics and got making some more. 

 I am going to be selling them on my ebay page. Or if anyone is interested please contact me!!! altervintage@hotmail.com -  if you have a request colour I may be able to make them for you. They are £5.99 do you think this is reasonable?? .. I am also going to try different sizes.. and putting them on grips and broaches.. I think the tartan one is my fave by far.

DIY Contrast Sleeve Army Jacket

So Iv had my eyes on one of them Military Jackets with the leather sleeves lately. As usual I waste my money on crap and haven't managed to purchase one. They are quite expensive considering I got my army jacket at the carboot for 50p and that's all it is really with leather arms, Anyway. . I realized that I have a military gullet and a little leather jacket I picked up the the charity shop for a couple of quid. I got out my beast of a sewing machine and stiched the leather arms to the gullet.. and wolla... Saved myself £65.

Southsea Flea Market

Saturday I had my first experience of Southsea Flea Market. Why have I not been before i ask myself? Found so many things I wanted and wished I had a good old rummage.
I did purchase a beautiful shirt witch I am so so please with. A few of my friend bought some lovely vintage jumpers, Perfect for winter!!

I have arranged to do the next one witch is going to be in January, held in a church hall in Waverly Road, Southsea. I have been collecting vintage items for ages, Bags, dresses jewelry.. so I cant wait!!

My collection of body armor is starting to get a little silly now. I'm like a magpie. Spikes have become a obsession. Spikes & studs. I like the punky edgy look at the moment. I never really used to like silver, or metel gun silver but lately have found myself buying alot of it.
